Wen Ning was just in the middle of kissing Meili, only to quickly pull away as Zhelan had entered. So much for the little time they had. He moved to retrieve his clothing and quickly pull on his trousers and inner robes, enough to be decent.
He then let her know it was safe to proceed to help his wife. While she was helping her, he went about making himself more presentable. This was something he was going to have to get used to. He believed that over time they would figure out a routine together. Right now it was just trying to get through the rest of the formalities.
